Pandion Creative’s Meko Accepted Into Maine Outdoor Film Festival
Director Harrison Buck and Pandion Creative announced that their documentary, Meko, has been accepted into the 2024 Maine Outdoor Film Festival (MOFF). This marks the second time Buck's work is featured at this festival.
Meko follows professional fishing guide Omeko "Meko" Glinton and his journey to establish a bonefishing lodge in Grand Bahama. According to Buck, the documentary started as a simple story but evolved into something greater.
Buck's previous film, The Tightest Line, also starring Glinton, premiered at MOFF in 2014, setting a precedent for his current project. Buck expressed gratitude for the ongoing partnership with the festival.
Running from July 24-28, the Maine Outdoor Film Festival attracts over 1,500 attendees annually. Meko will compete in the feature film category, with hopes of raising awareness about environmental challenges in the Bahamas.
