PAL Next AG Unveils 2025 Film and Series Lineup at Annual Meeting
Munich-based entertainment firm PAL Next AG has revealed a robust slate of productions for 2025 during its Annual General Meeting. A highlight is "DER TIGER," an anti-war film co-produced with Amazon MGM Studios. It will debut in German cinemas on September 18, 2025, followed by a global release on Prime Video. Notably, it is a contender for the "Best International Feature Film" at the 98th Academy Awards.
Two additional films, "NO HIT WONDER" and "DAS LEBEN DER WÜNSCHE," are set for release later this year, featuring notable German actors. The second season of the series "ASBEST" will launch on ARD Mediathek.
CEO Stephanie Schettler-Köhler highlighted the company's venture into AI-generated content through its subsidiary, Storybook Studios, as PAL Next aims to enhance its innovative media capabilities.
