Park Lawn Announces Postponement of Annual Meeting Amid Going Private Transaction

Park Lawn Corporation (TSX:PLC) has announced a special meeting set for July 29, 2024, to discuss its going private transaction. Viridian Acquisition Inc., in association with Homesteaders Life Company and Birch Hill Equity Partners, is poised to acquire all common shares at $26.50 per share. Eligible shareholders were determined as of June 18, 2024.

Details on the special meeting and the transaction will be shared in the management information circular to be mailed to shareholders soon. These documents will also be accessible via SEDAR+. Additionally, Park Lawn's annual meeting, initially scheduled earlier, is postponed to a date before September 30, 2024.
