Partial transfer of CLASQUIN to SAS Shipping Agencies Services Sàrl
The European Commission has approved the acquisition by SAS Shipping Agencies Services Sàrl of 42.06% of the capital of Clasquin SA. This decision, announced on October 4, 2024, marks a key step towards exclusive control by SAS, a subsidiary of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company. .
The sale, at a price of 142.03 euros per share, involves the transfer of shares held by Yves Revol, OLYMP, and others. It is expected to be completed on October 9, 2024. SAS then plans to file a draft public offer of 'purchase on the balance of shares from the Financial Markets Authority, at the same price per share.
If the conditions are met, a mandatory withdrawal procedure for the outstanding shares is envisaged, in order to remove Clasquin from the market. The filing of the draft offer is expected around October 15, 2024.
