Photon Energy Expands Footprint in Australasia, Signing a 20.8 MWp EPC and O&M Contract in New Zealand

Photon Energy N.V. has signed an EPC and O&M contract for a 20.8 MWp solar project in New Zealand. The project is located in Pukenui, Far North District, and is owned by Aquila Clean Energy APAC and Far North Solar Farm (FNSF).

This development marks Photon Energy's entry into the New Zealand market, leveraging their experience from Australia and Europe. The project will feature high-efficiency solar PV modules mounted on a mix of fixed east-west and north-facing ground mounts.

Construction is currently underway, with the facility set to connect to the Top Energy network. Upon completion, Photon Energy will provide ongoing operations and maintenance services.

The project is Photon Energy's first utility-scale venture in New Zealand, and one of the initial utility-scale projects for Aquila Clean Energy and FSNF in the country.
