Photon Energy Expands Solar Portfolio in Hungary

Photon Energy has commissioned three new solar PV power plants in Tolna, Hungary, adding 5.1 MWp to the nation's renewable energy capacity. These installations, operating under a merchant model, are set to generate approximately 6.3 GWh annually. This development increases Photon Energy's proprietary solar capacity in Hungary to 57.5 MWp, contributing to a global portfolio of 134.7 MWp.

The projects, Tolna 2, Tolna 3, and Tolna 5, were completed by Photon Energy Solutions HU Kft., the Group’s Hungarian subsidiary. Each plant uses advanced bi-facial monocrystalline modules, promising efficient energy production. The strategic location of the plants allows for comparative analysis of costs and performance, aiding future investments.

Photon Energy's latest endeavors underline its commitment to Hungary's renewable transition, positioning it as a key player in sustainable energy solutions.
