PixivFANBOX Marks Six Years of Significant Growth and Creator Support

pixiv Inc., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, announced the sixth anniversary of its creator-support platform, pixivFANBOX, set for April 26, 2024. Over these years, pixivFANBOX has seen remarkable growth, now boasting 12 million users and 220,000 registered creators. This platform, which facilitates monthly financial support from fans to creators, has channeled more than 50 billion JPY in pledges. Creators share exclusive behind-the-scenes content, giving fans insider access to their creative processes.

The platform's diversity in creator genres is notable, with illustrators making up nearly half of all creators. Other genres, including streaming, have also seen growth, particularly with a 3% increase during the VTuber boom from 2019 to 2020. Moreover, about 35% of creators on FANBOX utilize three or more monthly subscription plans, optimizing their earnings, which indicates a strategic use of the platform's features to maximize support.

As pixivFANBOX enters its seventh year, the platform plans to introduce new features and projects to enhance user and creator experience, aiming to continue supporting and enriching the creator-fan ecosystem.
