Plaintree Systems Inc. Reports Improved Net Income Despite Revenue Decline

Plaintree Systems Inc. has released its unaudited interim financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2026 ending September 30, 2025. The company reported revenues of $4,691,162, down from $6,229,534 in the same period of fiscal 2025. However, net income saw a substantial increase, reaching $924,152 compared to a net loss of $610,524 in the previous year.

For the six-month period ending September 30, 2025, revenues totaled $10,226,430, a decrease from $12,840,486 in fiscal 2025. Yet, net income rose significantly to $1,926,690 from $551,825.

CEO David Watson highlighted the challenges faced due to tariff uncertainties and recertification processes affecting Elmira shipments over the past six months. Nonetheless, approvals for pending recertifications are expected soon, allowing Elmira to address its backlog. Additionally, the wind-down of Summit Aerospace continues, with asset sales underway.
