PlanetechUSA Releases the WGS-6325-8UP2X L3 PoE++ Managed Switch

Planet Technology USA (PLANET), part of Versa Technology, has introduced the PLANET WGS-6325-8UP2X Industrial L3 4-Port 2.5G 802.3bt PoE + 4-Port 10/100/1000T 802.3bt PoE + 2-Port 10G SFP+ Wall-mount Managed Switch. This new switch offers a 480W PoE++ budget and operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C, housed in a compact, rugged IP30 metal case.

The WGS-6325-8UP2X enhances performance and security in industrial networking environments with advanced L3 switching and PoE++ capabilities. It includes a dual stack IPv6/IPv4 management port mix and boosts network expansion with two patented 10G SFP+ ports. Joe Williams, Director of Distributed Sales at PLANET, highlights its ability to deliver 95W of power and full-speed data over Cat5e and Cat6 cables.

Unique features include multi-speed SFP slots, redundant ring/fast recovery, intelligent power checks, power recycling, port-level PoE scheduling, and 1588 Time Protocol for telecom and internet security applications. These capabilities support diverse industries’ advanced networking needs.
