Planting Hope Company Inc. Requests Voluntary MCTO Due to Delays

CHICAGO, IL and VANCOUVER, BC – The Planting Hope Company Inc. has proactively applied for a voluntary management cease trade order (MCTO) with the British Columbia Securities Commission owing to expected delays in filing its annual financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023. The delay is attributed to the recent appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer who is taking additional time to review and prepare the financial statements.

The company anticipates that the required financial documents will be submitted by June 28, 2024. During this period, the company’s CEO and CFO are restricted from trading securities, however, it does not extend to other shareholders. The Planting Hope Company Inc. has committed to adhering to the alternative information guidelines, which involves issuing bi-weekly default status reports until the filings are completed and the MCTO is lifted.
