PNE Group Sells Polish Wind Farm Project
The PNE Group has made significant strides in Poland with the sale of its wind farm project to a prominent entity in the energy transition sector. This project, located in southwest Poland, features ten wind turbines with a total capacity of 72 megawatts (MW). PNE Polska, the Polish subsidiary, will advance the project to the ready-to-build phase, scheduled for 2029, with commissioning anticipated in 2030.
CEO Holger Gallas expressed satisfaction with the transaction to a major utility. This sale follows a previous successful project, indicating strong market confidence in PNE's development expertise. COO Roland Stanze highlighted Poland's strategic importance due to its renewable energy growth, benefiting PNE's international expansion.
