Polar Racking to Supply Solar System for quA-ymn Project
Polar Racking, a prominent North American solar mounting solutions provider, has been selected to supply a fixed-tilt solar PV mounting system for the 21 MW DC quA-ymn Solar Project. Located near Kamloops, BC, the project is owned by the Nlaka'pamux Nation Tribal Council and BluEarth Renewables and will be installed on reclaimed land at the Highland Valley Copper mine site, providing power to over 2,000 homes annually.
The CORE Utility-Scale Ground Mount system is highly adaptable, catering to different terrains and foundation types, ensuring cost-effective and efficient installation. This innovative system is praised for its robust design, able to withstand heavy wind and snow, and its compatibility with various solar panel types.
CEO Vishal Lala expressed pride in collaborating with PCL, emphasizing the contributions the project will bring to the local community.
