PolyPeptide Group Completes Milestone in Malmö Expansion

PolyPeptide Group AG announced the successful installation of pre-built modules at its Malmö, Sweden facility, marking a significant step in its expansion project. This development is part of the company's strategy to double its solid-phase peptide synthesis capacity, which was first announced in January 2025. The EUR 100 million investment, mostly funded by a pharmaceutical partner, aims to meet the growing global demand for peptide production.

The expansion is expected to create around 100 new permanent positions. The modular construction methodology is predicted to accelerate project completion compared to traditional approaches.

The new capacity will support PolyPeptide's commercial agreements and contribute to long-term growth initiatives. The company plans to maintain capital expenditures at 15-20% of revenue through 2028 to ensure sustained capacity growth.
