Poplar Creek Resources Inc. Announces Default Status Report
Calgary, AB / Accesswire / June 5, 2024 - Poplar Creek Resources Inc. (the "Corporation") has issued its bi-weekly Default Status Report as required by National Policy 12-203 ("NP 12-203"). The Corporation previously announced its inability to file its annual audited financial statements, management's discussion and analysis, and related CEO and CFO certificates before the April 29, 2024, deadline.
Following the announcement, the Corporation applied for a temporary management cease trade order ("MCTO") from the Alberta Securities Commission (the "ASC") which was granted on May 9, 2024. This MCTO prohibits trading by the CEO and CFO of the Corporation.
The Corporation is working to complete the required filings and anticipates rectifying the default by June 30, 2024. In addition, the Corporation reports that there have been no material changes or failures in fulfilling its stated intentions under NP 12-203 since the Default Notice. However, it has defaulted on filing interim financial reports for the period ending March 31, 2024, as the year-end filings need to precede the interim filings.
Except for these defaults, there have been no further issues reported. The TSX Venture Exchange has taken no responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
