Poplar Creek Resources Inc. Announces Default Status Report
Calgary, AB / ACCESSWIRE / June 19, 2024 / Poplar Creek Resources Inc. has issued a bi-weekly Default Status Report in compliance with National Policy 12-203 (NP 12-203). On May 8, 2024, the Corporation announced it would miss the April 29, 2024 filing deadline for its annual audited financial statements and other Required Filings.
Following this, the Corporation sought a temporary management cease trade order (MCTO) from the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) to halt trading by its CEO and CFO. The ASC granted the MCTO on May 9, 2024.
The Corporation is working to complete the Required Filings by June 30, 2024. No material changes or failures in meeting its intention to fulfill Alternative Information Guidelines have occurred since the Default Notice.
Additionally, the Corporation acknowledges it is also in default for not filing interim financial statements for the period ending March 31, 2024, by May 30, 2024. The year-end filings must be completed first. No further defaults are anticipated at this time.
