Positive half-year results for Compagnie des Alpes

Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) announced a turnover of 761.1 million euros for the first half of the 2023/24 fiscal year, marking an increase of 12.2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. This performance is mainly based on a notable increase in attendance at ski areas and leisure parks, as well as optimized management of water resources.

The ski areas and outdoor activities division particularly shone with an increase of 14.3%, generating a turnover of 496.9 million euros. The hotel business also saw significant growth, notably thanks to good performance during the Christmas and February holidays. Leisure parks recorded an 11.9% increase in turnover, reaching 167.7 million euros, benefiting from a favorable calendar and an increase in spending per visitor.
