Following recent elections, there has been a significant spike in searches related to moving from the U.S., indicating a growing curiosity about international relocation. moveBuddha, a relocation tech company based in Athens, Georgia, reported an 854% increase in visits to its article on countries offering financial incentives for new residents in just two days following the election.
According to moveBuddha's analysis, Google Trends revealed that searches for "how to move out of the country" surged by 800% from November 5 to November 6. Texans led these searches, with the United Kingdom and Italy emerging as the most desired destinations, credited for their financial relocation benefits.
Furthermore, moveBuddha identified the top-searched country for each state, highlighting a nationwide interest in international relocation, with Ireland, Japan, and France among the preferred destinations.
