PowerBand Solutions Announces Key Leadership Changes

TORONTO, ON / May 14, 2024 – PowerBand Solutions Inc., a leader in e-commerce platforms for vehicle leasing and financing, has officially announced several significant changes in its board and management team. Kris Gaerlan, known for his leadership at Dallas Lease Returns, joins the Board of Directors. Gaerlan has been instrumental in elevating the dealership experience, contributing to his company's multiple awards.

Concurrently, Darrin Swenson has resigned from the Board of Directors. Jeff Morgan, CEO of PowerBand, praised Swenson's pivotal role during challenging times for the company. Bryan Hunt has also stepped down as Chairman but will continue as a director. Morgan will assume the role of Chairman.

In management shifts, Xia Zhang rejoins PowerBand as Chief Technology Officer, having originally designed software for MUSA Auto Finance, acquired by PowerBand. Blake Kirk has been named Chief Operating Officer, and Sean Severin steps in as Chief Information Officer, transitioning from his previous role as CTO.
