Powering the Future: EVAL and Best Workplaces for Commuters Launch Electric Vehicle Charging Webinar Series
The Electric Vehicle Adoption Leadership (EVAL) program, in partnership with Best Workplaces for Commuters (BWC), has announced a series of webinars to highlight national leaders in workplace charging solutions. These sessions aim to inform policymakers, businesses, universities, and the general public about advancements and best practices in EV workplace charging.
Presenting organizations include Clean Communities of Central New York, EVNoire, and Tacoma Power. The series starts on August 22 and will continue every Thursday through September 19. Each one-hour session begins at 3:00 p.m. ET on the Zoom platform. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
"Expanding opportunities at commercial buildings will speed the switch to clean transportation," said Barry Carr from Clean Communities of Central New York. Forth, leading the EVAL program, sees employers across the U.S. implementing workplace charging programs as crucial to reducing the carbon footprint.
Julie Bond, BWC Program Manager, noted, "Providing EV charging stations at workplaces demonstrates a commitment to meeting employees' needs, especially as the number of EVs is expected to grow significantly."
