Pro Farm Group Inc and Ingenium Group LLC Achieve True Gold Zero Waste Certification

Pro Farm Group Inc., under the guidance of Ingenium Group LLC and its Destination Zero™ program, has achieved the TRUE™ Gold certification for its outstanding zero waste efforts at its Davis, CA, facility. This certification by Green Business Certification Inc.™ (GBCI) marks a significant accomplishment in waste management and resource efficiency, distinguishing ProFarm’s facility as the first TRUE-certified project in Davis and in the biologically-based agricultural products research and development sector.

Through a collaborative effort that began in 2021, ProFarm and Ingenium focused on reducing waste and improving recycling and composting efforts, leading to the diversion of over 94,000 pounds of potential waste. Their strategy has successfully diverted more than 93.3% of solid waste materials away from landfills and waste-to-energy facilities, emphasizing their commitment to sustainable practices and climate resilience.
