Proxymity and MUFG Expand Australian Partnership for Digital AGMs
Proxymity, a leader in digital investor communication, has expanded its partnership with MUFG Pension & Market Services (MPMS) to Australia. This collaboration allows clients of MUFG Corporate Markets to receive custodial votes in Australia through Proxymity’s platform, enhancing the delivery and efficiency of AGM announcements and voting.
The system aims to provide investors with more time for vote research and allows voting up to the deadline, facilitating effective pre-meeting communications between issuers and investors. Following implementations with Citi, J.P. Morgan, and HSBC, over 60% of Australian issuers are expected to connect to Proxymity's network, advancing real-time communication.
Dean Little, CEO of Proxymity, noted the importance of this extension, while Lysa McKenna, CEO of MUFG Corporate Markets, highlighted the partnership's role in improving client communication and aligning with global best practices.
