PUMA Appoints Indrajeet Sen as SVP PUMA Group Sourcing
Sports brand PUMA has named Indrajeet Sen as Senior Vice President PUMA Group Sourcing. This leadership change follows Chief Sourcing Officer Anne-Laure Descours' decision to not extend her contract beyond 2024. Sen will take over operational responsibilities from Descours and will be based in Xiamen, China.
Indrajeet Sen, who joined PUMA in 2016, has previously served as Vice President of Sourcing and Development Footwear. Prior to his tenure at PUMA, he worked as Global Quality Manager for Deichmann. In his new role, Sen will oversee global sourcing, development, and sustainability efforts, reporting to Chief Product Officer Maria Valdes.
PUMA CEO Arne Freundt highlighted Sen's contributions, especially during the COVID pandemic and in strengthening the supply chain. Freundt thanked Anne-Laure Descours for her significant contributions to PUMA’s sustainability strategy and welcomed her continued support as an external advisor.
As Descours steps down, the management board will reduce from four to three members. The remaining board members are Arne Freundt, Hubert Hinterseher, and Maria Valdes.
