PUMA Appoints Markus Neubrand as Chief Financial Officer
Herzogenaurach, September 26, 2024 – Sports company PUMA has announced the appointment of Markus Neubrand as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Management Board, starting October 1, 2024. The current CFO, Hubert Hinterseher, will step down on September 30 and leave the company at the end of December 2024.
Markus Neubrand previously served as CFO at GUESS? Inc., and held significant roles at MCM Worldwide and HUGO BOSS. At PUMA, he will be responsible for Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, IT, and Business Solutions.
CEO Arne Freundt welcomed Neubrand, highlighting his extensive expertise in financial planning and capital markets. Freundt also expressed gratitude to Hinterseher for his two decades of service to the company.
Starting October 1, PUMA’s Management Board will include Arne Freundt (CEO), Markus Neubrand (CFO), Maria Valdes (CPO), and Anne-Laure Descours (CSO).
