Q Precious & Battery Metals Corp Announces Upcoming Drilling Projects in Quebec

Q Precious & Battery Metals Corp has disclosed plans to initiate a 1,000-meter diamond drilling exploration in mid-June 2024. The drilling targets Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) mineralization at La Corne South and McKenzie East gold projects in Quebec. Based on an electromagnetic (EM) survey and previous drilling outcomes, targeted depths will range between 50 to 300 meters below the surface.

Historic drilling in these areas has identified significant levels of copper, zinc, and silver, along with traces of gold. The upcoming drilling will also incorporate the findings from a recent induced polarization (IP) survey, soil sampling, and drone-supported aerial surveys. Further testing at McKenzie East will follow up on promising results from 2020-2021 explorations, including visible gold in drilled cores.

The company has secured necessary permits and has engaged First Class Drilling for the operations. However, they caution that the historic results have not been independently verified by QMET yet. The anticipated drilling is part of a strategic effort to explore and possibly expand their mineral resource base in the region.
