Q Precious & Battery Metals Corp. Receives Permits for Quebec Drilling Project
Q Precious and Battery Metals Corp. (QMET) announced that it has received necessary permits to drill at the La Corne South project, north of Val d'Or, Quebec. Drilling equipment is being mobilized to start operations at site number 1. The company plans an initial 1,000 meters of diamond drilling to test Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) targets.
The permits allow for the construction of 10 drill pads with access roads. This follows a Pulse-EM Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) survey by TMC Geophysique, which identified strong conductive anomalies, suggesting potential VMS mineralization, including silver, copper, zinc, and nickel.
In the project's western part, six localized anomalies were found near the Boily-Bérubé mineral occurrence. Rock samples from this area showed elevated values for silver, copper, and zinc. The planned drilling will investigate these shallow-seated anomalies.
QMET's Quebec exploration programs are supervised by Dr. Mathieu Piché, a company director. The company aims to begin access construction for drilling in the next week.
