Q Precious & Battery Metals Resumes Drilling at La Corne South Project
Q Precious and Battery Metals Corp. (CSE:QMET) announced the recommencement of diamond drilling at its La Corne South project in Val d'Or, Quebec, for the 2024-2025 winter. This phase will continue examining geophysical anomalies similar to previously tested areas.
Earlier drill holes targeted TDEM conductors with magnetic highs, revealing robust VMS-style mineralization, with elevated copper, zinc, silver, and gold. Notably, hole 24LCS-01 showed a copper equivalent of 1.8% over 6.1 meters. Additional results from holes 24LCS-02 and 24LCS-03 are pending.
The geophysics data suggests a valuable corridor of anomalies, open towards the northwest, where more surveying is planned. Managed by Explo-Logik Inc., 278 core samples are being analyzed for 48 elements, including gold, at the ALS laboratory in Val d'Or.
