Q2 Metals Confirms Lithium Mineralization at Eight New Zones in Quebec

Q2 Metals Corp. has confirmed the discovery of eight new spodumene-bearing pegmatite zones at the Cisco Lithium Property in James Bay, Quebec. This brings the total number of lithium-enriched zones to 15. Analytical results from 41 samples showed lithium oxide (Li2O) grades ranging up to 4.31%, with an average of 1.80% Li2O.

The company's field program, involving mapping and rock sampling, indicated extensive lithium mineralization at the Cisco Property. Initial work began at the CO1 Zone and has since expanded to other areas. Up to now, 76 pegmatite samples have been analyzed, confirming new spodumene discoveries.

Neil McCallum, VP of Exploration, highlighted the promising results and indicated that further drilling would be systematically extended to the south of the CO3 zone. Surface samples from CO3 and CO8 have shown averages of 1.73% and 1.89% Li2O, respectively.

Ongoing sampling and mapping have identified a potential new area of interest southwest of CO15, with outcrop samples reporting up to 0.15% Li2O. Additionally, a boulder sample north of CO2 reported 0.73% Li2O. Further exploration will help understand the significance of these findings.
