Q2 Metals Reports Strong Drilling Results at Cisco Lithium Property
Q2 Metals Corp announced significant drilling results from the Cisco Lithium Property in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec. The company reported results from three drill holes revealing substantial lithium oxide intervals. Drill hole CS-24-021 showed the widest interval of 347.1 meters at 1.35% Li2O, including high-grade sub-intervals, notably 30 meters at 1.76% Li2O. Drill holes CS-24-017 and CS-24-019 also reported noteworthy grades, with 71.8 meters at 1.01% Li2O and 56.8 meters at 1.06% Li2O respectively.
President and CEO, Alicia Milne, expressed optimism about these findings and outlined plans for further exploration in 2025 to better assess the site's potential. The campaign covered 1,431.1 meters of drilling with results still pending from three additional drill holes. Q2 Metals aims to strategically expand their exploration program at the Cisco Property, which consists of 222 mineral claims spanning 11,374 hectares. The site is strategically situated within a promising lithium district.
