Lumibird: Revenue Growth in the First Half of 2025
The Lumibird group announced a 9% increase in its revenue for the first half of 2025, reaching €106.8 million. This growth was driven by the Photonics and Medical divisions, with respective increases of 8.6% and 9.4%.
In the second quarter, the Medical division continued to grow, while the Photonics division saw its Defense/Space business grow by 25%. However, temporary slowdowns affected the ETS and Medtech businesses. Nevertheless, a full order book suggests an improvement in EBITDA.
Geographic growth is disparate. Europe and the Americas stand out, although Asia-Pacific is seeing a negative impact from tariffs. These solid results should support increased profitability for Lumibird in the coming months.
