Quebec Precious Metals and Harfang Exploration Discover New Gold and Lithium Targets in Quebec

Quebec Precious Metals Corporation ("QPM") and Harfang Exploration Inc. ("Harfang") have announced the findings of a collaborative study on their contiguous Sakami and Serpent-Radisson projects in Quebec's James Bay region. The study has successfully identified 12 gold and lithium drilling targets, including three high-priority areas, indicating significant potential for high-grade mineralization.

The cooperative effort between QPM and Harfang leveraged combined resources and technical expertise, leading to an enhanced geological understanding of the project areas. This partnership aims to further explore and validate the identified targets through drilling, pending a field inspection scheduled for later this year. The findings contribute to the broader geological comprehension of the region, revealing previously unrecognized structures and potential lithium-bearing pegmatite bodies.

Both the Sakami and Serpent-Radisson projects have shown promising results for gold, with numerous high-grade showings reported. The Sakami project, notably, has a 23-km mineralized corridor with significant drilling results. In addition to gold, the presence of lithium potential adds a valuable dimension to these projects. The eastern part of the Serpent-Radisson project, in particular, has shown encouraging spodumene and tantalite samples, suggesting an expansive zone with lithium extractions possibilities.

The study, performed by ALS GoldSpot Discoveries Ltd. with assistance from GeoVector Management Inc., under QPM and Harfang’s guidance, underscores the importance of collaboration in advancing mineral exploration projects. Both companies have expressed their dedication to continuing this collaborative effort, emphasizing the shared benefits of pooling resources and expertise in the discovery and development of valuable mineral resources.
