Quebec Precious Metals Reports Promising Lithium Find in James Bay
Quebec Precious Metals Corporation (QPM) has announced promising initial results from its maiden drilling program on the Ninaaskumuwin project in James Bay, Quebec. The first drillhole intersected 22.9 meters of spodumene-bearing pegmatite, with spodumene content visually estimated at 3% to 50%. This spodumene-bearing body is composed mainly of quartz and feldspar. The structure dips at approximately -57 degrees to the north, remaining open along strike and depth. Further drilling is underway to better delineate its geometry.
The Ninaaskumuwin lithium prospect is strategically located near infrastructure such as the Billy Diamond highway, facilitating project development. The drilling program is overseen by GeoVector Management Inc. with strict quality controls in place. CEO Normand Champigny expressed optimism about the results, highlighting the project's potential.
