Rally OurBus Launches Route Connecting Morgantown to Washington D.C.

OurBus has introduced a new route linking Morgantown, West Virginia, to the Washington D.C. area, aiming to restore essential transport links for West Virginia University (WVU) and Frostburg State students. This move reconnects these campuses after previous services ceased during the pandemic.

Launching on Fridays, Sundays, and holidays, this service offers an accessible travel option for visiting family or hosting guests on campus. The route strategically includes stops in Frostburg, Hagerstown, Tysons, and Bethesda before reaching Washington D.C.

Located at Mountaineer Station, the Morgantown stop offers easy access to WVU's Personal Rapid Transit system. The Washington D.C. stop is positioned at Foggy Bottom metro station. The full journey lasts approximately four hours and 15 minutes, with tickets priced at $75.

OurBus guarantees comfort with its amenities such as reclining seats, free Wi-Fi, and a sanitized restroom, using either Mercedes Sprinter vans or high-end coaches according to rider demand.
