Rally’s OurBus Doubles New York City-Philadelphia Service
In the wake of Megabus's closure, OurBus has stepped in to fill the gap in service between New York City and Philadelphia. The company now offers up to eight daily round trips, doubling its previous frequency.
OurBus, owned by Rally, provides scheduled, affordable intercity routes. The service features comfortable reclining seats, free Wi-Fi, complimentary bottled water, power outlets, and sanitized restrooms.
Following Megabus's bankruptcy in June, East Coast travelers have been seeking alternatives. OurBus's increased frequency, effective since September 3, addresses this need. Fares range from $8 to $18, with trip lengths varying from 90 minutes to two hours depending on the time of day and stops.
Most routes operate between the New York City stop at 11th Avenue, near the Javits Center, and two Philadelphia stops. An additional stop at BAPS Akshardham Temple in Robbinsville, NJ, has also been introduced.
OurBus employs a network of bus owners and operators via its technology platform, allowing travelers to book the lowest-price bus travel. The service has provided over 3 million rides in 4,000 cities across 40 states and four countries, using AI to forecast demand and schedule routes.
