Riviera Beach's Rapids Waterpark, known as South Florida's leading aquatic amusement park, proudly introduced MEGA MAYHEM, unique in Florida for its dueling water coaster feature. The attraction, primed for its grand opening on April 4th, promises to deliver an exhilarating race experience for visitors. MEGA MAYHEM stands at an impressive height of nearly 54 feet, featuring two parallel flumes extending over 1,600 feet in length, where participants can race against each other.
This innovative ride incorporates three "blast zones" that use powerful water jets to propel riders at significant speeds through twists and turns. Additionally, participants will encounter four large bowls, enhancing the competitive and thrilling aspect of the ride. Bryan Megrath, the General Manager of Rapids Waterpark, expressed excitement about the addition, highlighting its potential to redefine the park as the "Thrill Capital of South Florida."
Constructed by ProSlide Technology Inc., MEGA MAYHEM is set to be the longest dueling water coaster in North America. The launch marks a significant milestone in the park's history, being the largest attraction introduced in its 45 years of operation. Rapids Waterpark is celebrating its 45th Season with a variety of events planned, including Foam Parties and Dive-In Movies, emphasizing its commitment to providing exceptional entertainment for families and thrill-seekers alike.
