ANICAV Showcases Organic Canned Tomatoes at BIOFACH 2026

ANICAV, the Italian Association of Canned Vegetables Industries, proudly participates in BIOFACH 2026 in Napoli, Italy. Highlighting Italian and EU organic canned tomatoes, the event promises various recipes by chef Rosario Monachello.

These tomatoes are noted for their sustainable farming, benefiting from Europe's ideal climate and soil, resulting in a rich taste. They are not only flavorful but also packed with nutrients like vitamins and antioxidants, contributing to a healthy diet.

The versatility of these tomatoes enhances dishes ranging from Italian pasta sauces to French ratatouille. Giovanni De Angelis, ANICAV General Director, noted the growing demand in Germany, with imports increasing significantly from €25.2 million to €28.9 million in early 2025. BIOFACH offers a platform to strengthen international partnerships and celebrate Italian agricultural excellence.
