Swiss Bitcoin App Relai Secures MiCA License in France

Swiss Bitcoin app, Relai, has acquired a MiCA license from the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), marking a significant achievement for the Zurich-based company. As one of the first Bitcoin-only platforms to obtain this license, Relai is set to expand its services across the European Union, pending completion of passporting notifications.

Relai plans to enhance its award-winning app with features such as Instant SEPA for faster Bitcoin purchases within the EU, and higher trading limits. The company is also focused on increasing user accessibility by providing educational content and hosting events throughout Europe.

The advisory board, including industry veterans Jean Guillaume, Daniel Astraud, and Herve de Kerdrel, will guide Relai's expansion efforts. Relai aims to leverage its new license to innovate and grow its presence in the evolving EU market.
