Reworld Media: stability and growth in profitability in the first half of 2024
Reworld Media has published its results for the first half of 2024, recording an EBITDA of €22.8 million, a slight increase of 1.5% compared to the previous year. Consolidated revenue stands at €264.1 million, stable (-0.9%) despite an uncertain macroeconomic context.
The BtoB segment posted a turnover of €149.9 million, up 4.3%, driven by digital activities. In contrast, the BtoC segment recorded a decrease of 6.9%, with a turnover of €114.2 million. The group's operating profitability improved, with an EBIT up 3.6% to €19.0 million.
An adjusted net profit of €10.3 million reflects increased profitability. However, the net profit attributable to the group is down to €5.6 million, mainly due to depreciation and amortization. The financial position remains solid with active cash of €80.6 million and a net debt ratio of 1.9x EBITDA.
