Ringmetall Expands Market Reach with FIB Beer Systems Acquisition

Ringmetall SE, a key player in the packaging industry, has announced the acquisition of FIB Beer Systems BV, based in Heerenveen, Netherlands. This move is expected to bolster Ringmetall's position in the bulk container liners market. FIB Beer Systems, renowned for its beer tanks, boasts over 20,000 installations across various continents, serving an international clientele.

The acquisition, valued in the low single-digit million euro range, was facilitated through the company's cash reserves, and involved no external debt. FIB Beer Systems is anticipated to contribute approximately EUR 8 million in revenue, presenting promising synergy potential due to its alignment with Ringmetall's existing operations.

CEO Christoph Petri emphasized that while special situations often deter acquisitions, the integration of FIB Beer Systems allows Ringmetall to expand its customer base and drive growth in the emerging beer tank market, particularly within the gastronomy sector.
