Ringmetall Maintains Revenue Amidst Declining Steel Prices
Ringmetall SE reported a slight revenue decline of 1.0% to EUR 134.1 million in the first nine months of 2024, primarily due to falling raw material costs, specifically steel. Nevertheless, the company improved its EBITDA by 3.6% to EUR 18.8 million, maintaining a strong EBITDA margin of 14.1%. The U.S. market showed robust performance, even as European demand remained stable, bolstered by large container liner sales.
The UK market also showed notable recovery. Despite a challenging economic environment, especially in the chemical sector, the food and beverage container market performed above expectations. While orders for technical inliners declined, Ringmetall remains optimistic about resolving production setbacks by mid-2025. The Management Board maintains the annual revenue guidance of EUR 170 to 185 million and anticipates EBITDA of EUR 22 to 27 million.
