River City Bank Announces Changes to the Board of Directors
Sacramento, CA / AccessWire / May 20, 2024 / River City Bank has announced changes to its Board of Directors, effective April 24, 2024. Paul Duncan has retired from the Board as he relocates out of California. Duncan, who joined the Board in 2021, brought significant experience from government, commercial, and investment banking sectors.
"Paul's extensive experience in commercial banking enriched our Board. We will miss him and wish him well," said Steve Fleming, President and CEO of River City Bank.
Eric Johnson, a technology strategist and adjunct lecturer at UC Davis, joins the Board. Johnson previously served as a partner at IT service providers and was Director of Corporate Development at Meriplex from 2021 to 2023. He managed national mergers and acquisitions and addressed complex technical and strategic issues.
Previously, Johnson was the Chief Information Officer of River City Bank from 2013 to 2017. "Eric understands our culture and business model and will provide critical guidance on our security strategies," commented Fleming.
Shawn Kelly Devlin, Chairman of the Board, stated, "We are pleased to welcome Eric. His expertise in information security will enhance our Board's diversity and expertise."
