Roche Bobois Reports H1 2024 Revenue of €204.4m, Expects Return to Growth in H2
Paris, 18 July 2024 – Roche Bobois SA reported H1 2024 revenue of €204.4 million, down 7.8% compared to H1 2023. This performance aligns with previous forecasts, showing an improvement in Q2 despite a temporary delivery delay worth €5 million deferred to H2.
The Group's directly-operated stores maintained retail sales at €182.8 million, mirroring the high level seen in H1 2023. Total retail sales, including franchised stores, reached €299.8 million, a slight decrease of 3.6% from the previous year.
Looking ahead, Roche Bobois anticipates growth in H2 2024. The Group's order backlog of €137.5 million at the end of June provides solid prospects. Recent acquisitions in Canada and China are expected to contribute positively to the second half's performance.
However, EBITDA is projected to decline by 5% to 10% for the year, with a more significant impact in H1 before a return to growth in H2. The company continues its expansion strategy, aiming to bolster its presence in key markets globally.
