Rockland Resources Secures Drilling Permits for Utah Project
Rockland Resources Ltd. announced the receipt of drilling permits for its Beryllium Butte Project in Juab County, Utah. Initial drilling will target the Saddle Target area, where previous samples showed promising beryllium concentrations. This area has demonstrated similarities with the Spor Mountain Formation, home to active beryllium deposits.
The Saddle Target exhibited beryllium values averaging 1,142 ppm over 25.5 meters, with a notable section showing 2,423 ppm over 6.13 meters. Anomalies in rubidium and cesium strengthen its potential as these metals serve as useful pathfinders.
CEO Mike England expressed optimism about the project's timing and location, particularly due to its proximity to Spor Mountain Mine, the world's largest beryllium producer. The project involves bertrandite mineralization, significant in the USA.
