ROK Resources Expands 2026 Drilling Program Post Asset Sale

ROK Resources Inc. has capitalized on favorable market conditions by selling two non-core assets, boosting its capital reserves and cutting abandonment and reclamation obligations by 16%. The strategic move enhances financial flexibility, allowing ROK to expand its 2026 drilling program in Southeast Saskatchewan. The company plans to drill a total of 12 wells this year while returning $0.03 per common share to shareholders, pending approval at the December 3, 2026 meeting.

Despite weather-related delays, the company has attained significant production, with nine of 10 wells currently operational, yielding approximately 675 boepd. ROK also aims to drill two high-impact wells by year's end. Additionally, ROK implemented a costless collar hedge over 35% of its base oil production, setting protection between CA$115 and CA$140.10 per barrel to mitigate price volatility.

Looking ahead, ROK's adjusted net surplus is projected at $6.4 million for year-end 2026, supporting continued drilling and capital allocation discipline.
