Rush Rare Metals Updates on Myriad's Magnetometer Survey at Copper Mountain Uranium Project

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 10, 2024 / Rush Rare Metals Corp. (CSE:RSH) has announced that Myriad Uranium Corp., its partner on the Copper Mountain uranium property in Wyoming, has completed a ground magnetometer survey on the "Canning" area. This survey covers approximately 4,200 acres and is a key part of Myriad's 2024 exploration program, which will include exploration drilling in the coming weeks. The objective is to convert the large historical uranium resource at Copper Mountain into current categories under National Instrument 43-101.

Rush CEO Peter Smith praised Myriad's efforts, highlighting the importance of continuing exploration and confirming previously identified open-pit zones. He noted that the Canning area had been slated for open-pit development by Union Pacific before the 1979 Three-Mile-Island incident. The new geophysical results are expected to guide early drilling efforts. Additionally, there is interest in the potential value of other known historical occurrences within the Copper Mountain claim area.

The Copper Mountain project, which includes areas like Midnight, Bonanza, and Kermac/Day, is poised for significant development. The potential scale of the project, according to Smith, is enormous, with early drill results anticipated to confirm this value.
