LOS ANGELES, CA - Little Kitchen Academy, a leading Montessori-inspired cooking school, has announced that NBA all-star and entrepreneur Russell Westbrook has joined as both an investor and an advisory board member. This partnership, in collaboration with Westbrook's Why Not? Foundation, aims to enhance access to culinary literacy for underserved communities.

Westbrook, a California native and nine-time NBA All-Star, is renowned not only for his on-court achievements but also for his community contributions. Since 2012, his Why Not? Foundation has empowered underserved children through educational programs and workforce development.

In his new role at Little Kitchen Academy, Westbrook will support the mission to empower children by expanding access to culinary education. His involvement is expected to bolster the academy's efforts to inspire and educate young minds globally.

"Our family loves Little Kitchen Academy. I want to help provide access to their incredible programs to kids who may not otherwise have access," said Westbrook. "Their programs foster creativity, curiosity, and independence, setting them up for success."

Brian Curin, CEO and Co-Founder of Little Kitchen Academy, expressed excitement about Westbrook's addition, highlighting the shared commitment to empowering young people. The partnership is anticipated to impact thousands of children by providing essential life skills and food literacy.
