Sadot Group Inc. Expands Green Mung Bean Trade in Brazil
Sadot Group Inc., based in Burleson, Texas, has announced a notable expansion of its commodity portfolio through its Brazilian subsidiary. The emerging global agri-food supply chain player has executed its first green mung bean trade, targeting Pakistan as a destination for these legumes, highly sought-after in the Asian market.
Green mung beans are a significant export commodity for Brazil, which sells around 95% of its production. As plant-based proteins gain popularity due to reduced animal protein consumption, these beans take on a vital role globally.
The synergy between Sadot's Brazilian and Canadian arms aims to optimize trade credit lines, broaden market coverage, and enhance efficiency. This strategy could also improve profit margins and create new opportunities for Sadot subsidiaries worldwide.
