SAF-HOLLAND Completes Acquisition in Indian Joint Venture
SAF-HOLLAND SE, a key player in the trailer and truck components industry, has acquired the remaining 40% of Haldex ANAND India Private Limited. The deal was completed on April 11, 2025. This move makes SAF-HOLLAND the sole owner of the company, founded in 1996 as part of Haldex's portfolio.
This acquisition is part of SAF-HOLLAND's drive2030 strategy, aiming to expand its footprint in India's commercial vehicle sector. The integration promises improved utilization of HALDEX products and collaboration with York, enhancing distribution networks across India.
CEO Alexander Geis highlights India's market potential, citing infrastructure investments and economic growth, fueling demand for trucks and trailers. The transaction cost is in the lower double-digit million-euro range, marking a strategic investment for SAF-HOLLAND’s long-term growth.
