SAF-HOLLAND Reports Positive First Quarter for Fiscal Year 2024
SAF-HOLLAND SE announced a robust start to the fiscal year 2024, with an adjusted EBIT margin increase to 9.6%. Noteworthy is their revenue growth of 5.2% to EUR 505.4 million, compared to EUR 480.4 million in the previous year. The adjusted result for the period after minority interests improved by 27.2% to EUR 31.3 million. Despite a weaker commercial vehicle market, the company showed strong operational performance.
The company’s aftermarket business thrived, increasing from 26.1% to 35.1% of total sales, benefiting from various acquisition effects and an enlarged market presence. This sector yielded earnings per share of EUR 0.58, up from EUR 0.43. SAF-HOLLAND confirmed its full-year guidance expecting Group sales around EUR 2.000 million and an adjusted EBIT margin between 9.0% and 9.5%.
In regions, EMEA remained the largest, albeit with a slight decrease in its contribution percentage to total group sales. Americas and APAC regions showed varied performance with the latter seeing a notable sales increase by 21.2%. CFO Alexander Geis emphasized the strength of the company’s diversified business model and its adaptability to fluctuating markets.
