Safran's Financial Performance and 2025 Outlook

Safran reported strong financial results for 2024, achieving record levels in revenues, profits, and free cash flow. Revenue reached €27,317 million, a 17.8% increase from the previous year. Recurring operating income rose 30.1% to €4,119 million, representing 15.1% of sales. Free cash flow was €3,189 million, with a proposed dividend of €2.90 per share.
Safran revised its 2025 outlook upwards, expecting revenue growth of about 10% and recurring operating income between €4.8 and €4.9 billion. Free cash flow is anticipated to be between €3.0 and €3.2 billion. Key drivers include increased LEAP engine deliveries and strong services revenue growth.
In 2024, the Propulsion division saw a 15.0% revenue increase, driven by civil aftermarket activities. Equipment & Defense revenue grew by 17.7%, while Aircraft Interiors experienced a solid 25.2% growth, driven by widebody market recovery.
Looking ahead, Safran's priorities include improving industrial performance and executing a €5 billion share buyback program. The company remains focused on meeting customer demands and continuing profitable growth.
