Saint-Gobain Enters Exclusive Sale Negotiations for SFIC Belgium
Saint-Gobain has announced its entry into exclusive negotiations with Ponsardin Industries for the sale of SFIC Belgium. This entity specializes in the distribution of construction materials such as plasterboard, insulation, and ceilings. The operation of SFIC Belgium includes a network of 10 branches throughout Belgium and involves 123 employees. Estimated sales for 2025 are around €75 million.
The intended sale is subject to consulting with employee representative bodies and is expected to conclude by end of 2025. This move aligns with Saint-Gobain's ongoing strategy to optimize its portfolio, emphasizing adaptability in construction markets.
